Good news for Paris, Arkansas
It is nice to see small towns in Arkansas willing to try something new. The city of Paris recently hosted the first annual Paris Rhythm and Rock Festival. The event featured bands such as No Justice, Lucero, and the big time Texas Country band Cross Canadian Ragweed. I attended the concert and felt that the city of Paris and their Chamber of Commerce did a superb job of bringing in great talent for the event. Here is a link to a story featured in the local Paris newspaper about the event.

Paris is certainly a quaint little place with a nice, clean downtown area, unlike so many little towns in AR where a junkyard might welcome you to the downtown, like Goober's Junk, which existed near the Dumas downtown years ago. Little towns all over AR can follow Pairs' lead. A lot of little towns across KS are really serious about keeping their places clean and devoid of junk and condemnable structures.
