Beebe Doctrine

This is some experpts from Mike Beebe’s announcement speech to day. I will call this the doctrine of Mike Beebe, well as of June 14th that is.

…I believe in an Arkansas that provides health care for its children. That is my goal as
Governor.

I believe in an Arkansas that demands the highest education standards from both its pupils
and its teachers. That is my goal as Governor.

I believe in an Arkansas that competes for jobs of the 21st century, not only with its neighbors,
but with the nation and the world. That is my goal as Governor.

I believe that neither political party has a monopoly on the truth.

I believe that both Democrats and Republicans have good ideas and that our challenge is to
take the best of what works and make it available to all the people of our state. I believe that
our best days are yet to come.

Sounds like some bold new plans that are being offered by Beebe.
